Mobfu is a simple, safe and free way to keep in touch with groups of friends all through SMS/text messaging.
There are no fees, no applications to download, no signup process, and your phone number is never displayed or sent to anyone else! Most people will use Mobfu without even knowing about the website!
You can create or join mobs by simply texting a #mob_hashtag to 1-650-264-9267! Anyone who sends a text with that #mob_hashtag will be added to the mob and will receive broadcasts including that #mob_hashtag! That's it! |

| How to get started using Mobfu: |

Simply text Hello to 1-650-264-9267!
Pro-Tip: Start off by using the name command:
Text 'name mike' to 1-650-264-9267 so that your broadcasts will show up as from 'mike' instead of 'xxx-1234' (or whatever your name happens to be :P).
There's no need to signup through any websites or pay anything (except your normal mobile phone providers SMS fees).

| I get a reply back from 1-650-264-9267 saying the #sfbarhop mob was just created as I was the first to join it. |
| Next I simply tell my friends to text 'hello #sfbarhop' to 1-650-264-9267 which will automatically add them to the #sfbarhop mob! |
| Now for the rest of the night (or until the last person leaves the #mob), we can all send texts to #sfbarhop which will be broadcast to everyone who's a member of the #sfbarhop mob! |

| I tell my wow buddies to send a text to 1-650-264-9267 that includes the #wowvk mob hash tag. |
| Now, whenever we need more people to help raid or do something else, we simply text '#wowvk time to raid, come onnn!' to 1-650-264-9267! |
